About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Neighbourhood Officer to join our property team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tenancy management services, providing excellent customer care, and making a positive impact in our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Management: Show customers around empty properties, conduct lettings in accordance with our policies and procedures, and ensure that properties are maintained to a high standard.
  • Customer Support: Provide advice and assistance to residents on all housing matters, including information on legal rights, responsibilities, and welfare and safeguarding concerns.
  • Community Engagement: Work with local partners to build neighbourhood resilience, engage with customers, and provide support to vulnerable members of society.
  • Team Collaboration: Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service, meet performance objectives, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Requirements
  • Full UK Driver's License: A full UK driver's license and access to a car are essential for this role, as you will be required to travel to various locations.
  • Housing Experience: Experience or knowledge of housing, lettings, or social housing is highly desirable.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage confidential and personal information are essential.
  • Personal Resilience: The ability to manage a fast-paced, demanding role and juggle multiple tasks is crucial for this position.
