About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Neighbourhood Officer to join our team at Together Housing. As a key member of our Neighbourhood Services team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality tenancy management services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Management: Show customers around empty properties and carry out lettings in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Customer Support: Provide advice and assistance to our residents on all housing matters, including information on legal rights, responsibilities of their tenancy agreement, and managing any welfare and safeguarding concerns.
  • Community Engagement: Be the point of contact for housing management services on a patch, including the enforcement of the Association's conditions of tenancy, particularly in relation to the condition of property and/or garden.
  • Team Collaboration: Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service and meet all performance objectives.
Requirements
  • Full UK Driver's License: A full UK driver's license and access to a car are essential for this role, as it is field-based.
  • Housing Experience: Experience or knowledge of housing/lettings or ideally social housing is required.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of customers are essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to manage confidential and personal information appropriately and sensitively.
  • Personal Resilience: Personal resilience to deal with a fast-paced, demanding role juggling a number of tasks at once is necessary.
