Position Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior/Principal/Associate Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting our extensive portfolio of prestigious geotechnical projects, both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Providing expert geotechnical engineering solutions across various sectors, including infrastructure and energy.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Managing projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Engaging with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Conducting thorough geotechnical assessments and analyses to inform project decisions.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or Geology, complemented by a postgraduate qualification in a geotechnical discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience post-chartered status as a geologist or civil engineer.
  • Chartered status with a recognized professional institution.
  • Extensive experience in geotechnical design and project management.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and stakeholders.
  • A valid UK driving license and a willingness to travel for project assignments.
