Job Summary

Advance TRS is seeking a highly experienced Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in a project lead capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering, with a proven track record of managing projects and mentoring engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead geotechnical engineering projects from conception to completion
  • Manage and mentor a team of geotechnical engineers
  • Develop and implement geotechnical design solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, with a master's degree preferred
  • Significant geotechnical experience gained while working for another consultancy on major projects
  • Chartership is essential for the Principal grade
  • Experience of geotechnical design, including earthworks, soil and rock slope, retaining structures, foundations, excavations, basements, and ground improvement
  • Experience in using geotechnical software, including Plaxis (2D & 3D), Wallap, and Repute
