**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team as a Project Lead. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and managing geotechnical projects from conception to completion, providing technical guidance, conducting analyses, and delivering practical solutions to complex geotechnical challenges.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to timelines and financial objectives.
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to facilitate project approvals and permits.
  • Conduct geotechnical analysis, including slope stability assessments, foundation design, and soil-structure interaction analyses.
  • Utilize advanced software and tools to model complex geotechnical systems and evaluate engineering solutions.
  • Prepare detailed engineering reports, drawings, and specifications in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of geotechnical data and analyses.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with projects and develop mitigation strategies to address them effectively.
  • Review and evaluate project deliverables to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and client expectations.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or Engineering Geology.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software.
  • Familiarity with CAD and GIS tools preferred.
  • Ability to work independently from home and at the office.
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport.
