About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at RSK Group. As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in leading geotechnical projects from desk studies to ground investigation phases, and ultimately to the production of interpretive reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Manage and complete geotechnical projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Design and Supervision: Design, supervise, and manage ground investigation and construction works, including earthworks design, specification, and verification.
  • Geotechnical Analysis: Conduct geotechnical analysis of foundations, slopes, earthworks, basements, and retaining structures.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Produce high-quality interpretative reports, design reports, and specifications.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: BEng/MEng/BSc or equivalent in Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering, or Geology, or a related subject.
  • Experience: Demonstrable experience in geotechnical desk studies, geohazard assessments, ground investigation, and geotechnical analysis.
  • Professional Development: Working towards chartership with the Geological Society or ICE or another relevant professional body.
  • Additional Requirements: Experience of conducting desk studies and geohazard assessments for large-scale linear infrastructure in the UK and/or internationally, and a full UK driver's license.
