Senior Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Blueprint Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our engineering consultancy, you will be responsible for leading and undertaking assignments in the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage technical delivery, commercial aspects, financial controls, planning, resourcing, and troubleshooting for various projects.
- Act as a hands-on geotechnical design engineer, capable of working independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results.
- Assist and support the development of technical capability within the skill area, ensuring the delivery of service offerings targeted.
- Manage and organize the technical staff, acting as a line manager as required, mentoring fellow engineers, supporting staff recruitment, training, CPD, and implementation of 'Best Practice' and procedures.
Requirements:
- Chartered (or near Chartered) in a relevant discipline.
- Civil engineering degree with a postgraduate qualification in a geotechnically or engineering geology related subject from an accredited college or university.
- Demonstrable international and site experience, predominantly in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Detailed design experience including deep and shallow foundations, deep excavations, basements, retaining structures, and earthworks.
- People management experience, including general employee welfare, carrying out appraisals, training, and development, involvement in resourcing and recruitment activities.
