Position Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior/Principal/Associate Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting our expanding portfolio of high-profile geotechnical projects across various sectors, including infrastructure and energy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert geotechnical engineering input on complex projects.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets effectively, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Conduct geotechnical design and analysis, applying industry best practices.
  • Oversee ground investigations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or Geology, with a postgraduate qualification in a geotechnical discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience post-chartered status as a geologist or civil engineer.
  • Chartered status and a strong academic background, ideally with an MSc or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a senior role within a fast-paced engineering consultancy.
  • Strong project management skills, with a focus on client relationships and commercial management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to produce high-quality reports.
  • A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel for short assignments.
