About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at RSK Group. As a key member of our Geosciences team, you will be responsible for leading geotechnical projects and providing technical expertise to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead geotechnical projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, including geotechnical analysis, design, and reporting.
  • Oversee ground investigations, contract administration, and specification preparation.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and client needs are satisfied.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to promote RSK Group's services and reputation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geology, or Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Chartered Engineer/Geologist status or working towards it with a relevant professional body.
  • At least 10-15 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering, including project management and leadership roles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of geology, ground investigation works, engineering geology, and geotechnical engineering.
