The Opportunity

As a key leader within Frasers Group, you will be at the forefront of one of the fastest-growing luxury retailers. Our luxury division encompasses a range of prestigious brands. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for guiding a substantial team of over 20 managers in our flagship luxury location.

We are innovating the retail landscape, and with our diverse array of brands, we are redefining traditional retail experiences while ensuring the sustainability of our business. Your success will stem from your strong commercial insight, enabling you to mentor, support, and enhance the engagement of your store managers, while providing inspiring leadership to exceed company goals. You will act as a business leader for your store, ensuring that operational initiatives are approached with enthusiasm and efficiency, while managing all aspects of store operations, customer service, budget adherence, personnel, and product management.

1. Operations:

Supervise store operations and ensure that performance meets established KPIs. Monitor store performance and hold managers accountable for any shortcomings, offering guidance and feedback for enhancement. Utilize business communication tools to ensure task completion and that your team comprehends all essential functions. Challenge and propose improvements to store operations.

2. Controls:

Ensure weekly wage controls are adhered to, assisting the store team in resolving any issues promptly. Oversee compliance with payroll processing and exceptions, ensuring effective resolution of any problems. Promote excellent performance in wage management through detailed analysis and observations on the sales floor. Mentor the store team to operate within the timeframes established by the business and guide them with realistic expectations.

3. Sales

Grasp business and customer expectations, ensuring they are met to the highest standards. Observe service levels and leverage knowledge to coach managers on improvement strategies. Understand product features and benefits, guiding the team to convey this knowledge effectively. Drive KPI targets and inspire the team to achieve results. Analyze data and communicate insights to teams for enhancement. Maintain awareness of the retail industry, business challenges, competitors, and customer preferences, demonstrating strong commercial acumen. Coach and guide the team on how to apply merchandising guidelines effectively on the sales floor.

4. Development

Identify both internal and external talent, utilizing development opportunities and performance management processes to foster exceptional performance. Take initiative in your own professional development. Strategize for development and create clear succession plans for each store to nurture the next generation and support business growth. Cultivate an environment that recognizes and rewards performance fairly and equitably.

5. Leadership and Management

Serve as a brand ambassador for the Flannels brand, both within and outside the workplace. Motivate the workforce and act as a role model for others. Develop, coach, and inspire your team of Managers to achieve success, holding them accountable as necessary. Build strong relationships with store teams, senior management, brand partners, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

The Requirements

Demonstrated experience leading a large team in a dynamic, multi-department environment is essential. At least 3 years of experience in luxury and premium retail at a senior management level. Extensive knowledge and passion for luxury retail, including building brand relationships. A background that showcases your ability to drive sales and profits, manage costs, and reduce stock loss, along with experience managing senior managers. Proven track record of internal advancement and development. Ability to perform well under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Flexibility to work a schedule that meets the needs of the business.

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring availability across various days, including weekdays, weekends, and evenings. The successful candidate should be adaptable to retail hours.
