The Opportunity

As a key leader within Frasers Group, you will play a pivotal role in steering one of the fastest-growing luxury retailers. Our luxury division encompasses several esteemed brands, and you will report directly to the Store Manager, overseeing a dynamic team of over 20 managers in our flagship location.

We are redefining the retail landscape, and with our diverse portfolio of brands, we are innovating beyond traditional retail models to ensure the sustainability of our business. Your strong commercial insight will be essential in coaching, supporting, and enhancing the engagement of your store managers, providing motivational leadership to exceed company goals. You will function as a business manager for your store, ensuring that business initiatives are embraced with enthusiasm and efficiency, while managing all aspects of store operations, customer service, budget management, personnel, and product.

1. Operations:

Supervise store operations to ensure compliance with all key performance indicators (KPIs) Monitor store performance and hold managers accountable for any shortcomings, offering support and constructive feedback for enhancement Utilize business communication tools to ensure task completion and clarity of key functions among your team Challenge and propose improvements to store operations

2. Controls:

Ensure weekly wage controls are adhered to, assisting the store team in resolving any issues promptly Oversee compliance in payroll processing and exceptions, addressing issues and problem-solving effectively Drive superior performance in wage controls through thorough analysis and observations on the sales floor Mentor the store team to operate within business timelines and guide them with realistic expectations

3. Sales

Grasp business and customer expectations, ensuring they are met with exceptional standards Observe service levels and leverage knowledge to coach managers on improvement strategies Understand product features and benefits, coaching the team to deliver comprehensive knowledge Drive KPI targets and inspire the team to achieve results Analyze data and communicate insights to teams for enhancement Maintain a strong awareness of the retail industry, including business challenges, competitors, and customer needs Guide the team on interpreting merchandising guidelines effectively on the sales floor

4. Development

Identify and nurture internal and external talent, utilizing development opportunities and performance management processes to foster exceptional performance Take initiative in your own professional development Strategize for development and create clear succession plans for each store to support business growth Foster an environment that encourages and rewards performance fairly

5. Leadership and Management

Act as a brand ambassador for the Flannels brand both within and outside the workplace Inspire the workforce and serve as a role model Develop, coach, and motivate your team of managers to achieve success, holding them accountable as necessary Cultivate strong relationships with store teams, senior management, brand partners, and external stakeholders

Qualifications

The Requirements

Proven experience in leading a large team in a fast-paced, multi-department environment is essential Minimum of 3 years of experience in luxury and premium retail at a senior management level Extensive knowledge and passion for luxury retail, including building brand relationships A background demonstrating your ability to increase sales and profits, manage costs, and minimize stock loss, alongside managing senior managers Proven track record of internal progression and development Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines Flexibility to work a schedule that meets the needs of the business

This is a full-time, permanent role requiring availability across weekdays, weekends, and evenings. The successful candidate should be adaptable to retail hours.
