Strategic Business Development Executive - Event Catering

Location: Central London
Salary: £50-55k

Position Overview: We are in search of a motivated and skilled Strategic Business Development Executive to enhance our team in London. The ideal candidate will possess a successful history in the event catering sector, with established connections to distinctive venues throughout London. This position demands a proactive sales mindset, outstanding communication abilities, and the talent to discover and seize new business prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to foster growth.
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with key stakeholders, including venue managers, event coordinators, and corporate clients.
  • Conduct market analysis to uncover emerging trends and opportunities within the event catering landscape.
  • Formulate and execute strategic sales initiatives to meet revenue objectives.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary contact for both new and existing clients.
  • Deliver personalized and high-quality customer service to guarantee client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate client meetings, presentations, and tastings to highlight our offerings and capabilities.
  • Negotiate agreements and finalize contracts to secure new business.
  • Collaboration & Coordination:
  • Collaborate closely with operations, culinary, and event planning teams to ensure flawless event execution.
  • Coordinate with marketing to create promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance our brand visibility and expand our network.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
  • Track sales performance and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for enhancement.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Strategic Business Development Executive in the event catering sector.
  • Established network of contacts within unique venues in London.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of the London event landscape and current industry trends.
  • A passion for culinary arts, events, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
