In the UK, Safran Seats focuses exclusively on the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide-body aircraft, with dedicated industrial and engineering teams located in various regions.

The primary objective of this position is to ensure product quality throughout the lifecycle at Safran Seats GB, adhering to all contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the Supplier Assessment process by conducting audits and evaluations as required.
- Ensure Suppliers comply with Safran standards such as APQP by adapting and implementing necessary tools (FMCE, risk assessments, etc.).
- Facilitate compliance of Products and Services with quality standards by guiding suppliers in understanding requirements, ensuring adherence to regulations, customer specifications, and Safran standards, while fostering a culture of prevention and anticipation.
- Manage non-compliance effectively by addressing supplier system, product, and process discrepancies, ensuring corrective actions are implemented successfully.
- Promote Supplier improvement by establishing KPIs to evaluate Supplier quality performance in accordance with Safran's rating system; support and advocate for excellence through the application of recommended tools and methods.
- Ensure that the customer's perspective is acknowledged and understood by all suppliers.
- Support customer inspection processes.
- Collaborate as a team member in resolving manufacturing product quality challenges using 8D Techniques.
- Contribute to quality initiatives within project timelines.
- Drive continuous improvement by leveraging factual data and feedback, providing essential support across all company functions.

Job Requirements:

- Apprenticeship level or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
- Solid engineering/quality background with experience in Quality inspection within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Knowledge of HSE risk management.
- Ability to analyze quality performance and establish quality standards.
- Ideally, AS9100 Internal Auditor trained.
- Preferably experience in the Aerospace sector.
