In the UK, our focus is exclusively on the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide-body aircraft, supported by our industrial and engineering teams located in various regions.

The primary objective of this position is to ensure product quality throughout its lifecycle at Safran Seats GB, in alignment with all contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the Supplier Assessment process by conducting audits and evaluations as instructed.
- Ensure Suppliers adhere to Safran standards, such as APQP, by customizing and applying necessary requirements and tools (FMCE, risk assessments, etc.).
- Guarantee that Products and Services meet quality standards by guiding suppliers in understanding requirements and ensuring compliance with regulations, customer expectations, and Safran standards. Foster a culture of prevention and anticipation.
- Manage non-compliance effectively by addressing supplier system, product, and process discrepancies, ensuring corrective actions are implemented successfully.
- Promote Supplier improvement by establishing KPIs to assess Supplier quality performance according to the Safran rating system; advocate for excellence through the implementation of recommended tools and methods.
- Ensure that the customer's perspective is acknowledged and understood by all suppliers.
- Support customer inspection initiatives.
- Collaborate as a team member in resolving manufacturing product quality challenges using 8D Techniques.
- Contribute to quality activities within project timelines.
- Drive continuous improvement by leveraging factual data and feedback, providing necessary support across all company functions.

Job Requirements:

- Apprenticeship level or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
- Strong engineering/quality background with experience in Quality inspection within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Knowledge of HSE risk management.
- Ability to analyze quality performance and establish quality standards.
- Ideally, AS9100 Internal Auditor trained.
- Preferably experience in the Aerospace sector.
