In the UK, Safran Seats focuses exclusively on the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide-body aircraft, with dedicated engineering and industrial teams located in various regions.

The primary objective of this position is to ensure product quality throughout the lifecycle at Safran Seats GB, adhering to all contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Supplier Assessment process through conducting audits and evaluations as required.
- Ensuring that suppliers adhere to Safran standards such as APQP by customizing and applying relevant tools (FMCE, risk assessments, etc.) during the implementation of Safran requirements.
- Guaranteeing that products and services meet quality standards by assisting suppliers in understanding these requirements; ensuring compliance with regulations, customer expectations, and Safran standards while fostering a culture of prevention and foresight.
- Managing non-compliance effectively by addressing supplier system, product, and process discrepancies, ensuring that corrective actions are implemented successfully.
- Promoting supplier enhancement by establishing KPIs to evaluate supplier quality performance in accordance with the Safran rating system; advocating for excellence through the application of recommended tools and methods.
- Ensuring that the voice of the customer is acknowledged and understood by all suppliers.
- Assisting in customer inspection activities.
- Collaborating as a team member in resolving manufacturing product quality challenges using 8D techniques.
- Supporting quality initiatives within project timelines.
- Driving continuous improvement by leveraging factual data and feedback, providing necessary support across all company functions.

Job Requirements

- Apprenticeship level or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
- Solid engineering/quality background, with experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Knowledge of HSE risk management.
- Ability to analyze quality performance and establish quality standards.
- Ideally, AS9100 Internal Auditor trained.
- Preferably experience in the Aerospace sector.
