Role Overview

The Quality Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring product quality throughout its lifecycle at Safran Seats GB. This position involves supporting quality assurance during the manufacturing process and ensuring compliance with established processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguard customers from quality issues by ensuring adherence to regulations, customer specifications, and Safran standards while promoting a culture of prevention.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data and feedback to support all company functions.
  • Perform inspection activities using precision measuring tools such as Verniers, micrometers, and FARO arms.
  • Assist in customer inspection activities and collaborate in problem-solving efforts related to manufacturing quality issues using 8D techniques.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to align with business objectives.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess an apprenticeship level or equivalent in an engineering discipline, along with a solid background in quality inspection within a manufacturing or engineering context. Key skills include:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in using measuring equipment
  • Understanding of engineering drawings
