Role Overview
As a Quality Compliance Engineer at Safran, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Safran Seats division, which specializes in premium seating solutions for First and Business Class in wide-body aircraft. This position involves collaborating across various departments to enhance and uphold the Quality Management System.
- Focus on compliance with Part 14 regulations.
- Ensure product quality by adhering to customer requirements and Safran standards, fostering a culture of prevention and anticipation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by utilizing data and feedback to support all company functions.
- Develop and implement an internal audit program to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate the deployment of the Quality Management System through internal audits and compliance checks.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with all business areas on quality systems, procedures, and processes.
- Assist in customer and regulatory audits to ensure compliance with AS9100, EASA Part 21(G)/21(J), and EASA 145.
- Provide coaching on quality improvement tools and Human Factors training.
- Prepare audit checklists and conduct both internal and external audits.
- Manage audit nonconformity requests effectively.
