Position Overview

HR Change Management Lead – Safeguarding Division

Location: Flexible/Remote

Salary: Approximately £48,000 with comprehensive pension benefits and additional perks

Merrifield Consultants is in search of a seasoned professional to collaborate closely with the Senior Management Team in establishing a new Safeguarding Division. This role will involve evaluating current employment frameworks across various regional teams and spearheading the implementation of the necessary HR protocols to create new safeguarding employment frameworks.

You will be responsible for overseeing financial arrangements, organizational structures, and the formation of new teams while leading the transformation process alongside the Director of HR.

Key Responsibilities –

  • Engage with regional teams to facilitate the conclusion of existing safeguarding employment frameworks and ensure a seamless transition to the new structure.
  • Collaborate with HR to identify the HR and employment law protocols necessary for the new framework.
  • Develop and establish a timeline for the execution of any HR and legal employment protocols.
  • Implement and supervise the completion of any HR and legal employment protocols that are required.
  • Manage the recruitment process for personnel within the new employment framework.
  • Oversee and implement any financial arrangements arising from the establishment of the new framework.
  • Upon successful implementation of the structure, transfer responsibility and relevant information to designated colleagues for ongoing management and monitoring.

Candidate Profile –

  • Proven experience in leading transformational change initiatives.
  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
  • In-depth understanding of employment law protocols and data protection regulations.
  • Experience in managing and executing legal employment protocols during change initiatives.
  • Demonstrated skills in project planning, management, and delivery throughout change processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities, utilizing a high level of emotional intelligence to cultivate positive relationships.
  • Experience in safeguarding practices is advantageous.
