Job Title: Test Centre Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Test Centre Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our test centre, providing exceptional customer service to candidates, and maintaining the highest standards of security and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide a high level of customer service to candidates, ensuring their needs are met with understanding and respect.
  • Test Centre Operations: Ensure the efficient delivery of tests to candidates, following procedures and guidelines provided by the company.
  • Security and Integrity: Maintain the highest standards of security and integrity, ensuring the integrity and security of tests are maintained and that they are supervised to the required standard.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues, candidates, and external stakeholders, ensuring all concerns are communicated in a timely manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform daily test centre opening and closing procedures, maintain accurate records, and complete administrative tasks as required.

Key Activities:

  • Test Centre Preparation: Ensure equipment is operational and test stations are in working order to deliver testing.
  • Test Scheduling: Review transmission and error logs in locally operating software to ensure correct functionality, including schedule download and results upload processes.
  • Candidate Support: Process candidates' sign-in, explain the test process to candidates, and deal with other queries as required.
  • Reporting: Print and provide post-test score reports to candidates as required.
  • Technical Support: Liaise with Pearson VUE technical support staff to investigate and resolve technical issues.

Working Arrangements:

  • Location: You will be based in one of the Pearson VUE test centres.
  • Travel: Some local travel to other PPC's or temporary locations may be required.
  • Flexibility: A flexible approach to working is essential for this position, as opening hours and days will vary according to the volume of tests booked.

Essential Experience and Qualifications:

  • Customer Service Experience: Experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Communication Skills: Good face-to-face communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Competent in the use of Windows-based applications, including Web Mail, Excel, Word, and Internet Explorer.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to work independently and use initiative within organisational guidelines to meet objectives.
  • Conflict Resolution: Ability to deal with conflict and work under pressure.
