About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven New Business Account Handler to join our team at Howden Group Holdings. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and secure new education partnerships with independent schools and colleges.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing solutions to their insurance needs.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts to the Client Director using pipeline reporting and CRM systems.
  • Support the wider team in managing relationships with key partners and delivering an exceptional new business customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and provide introductions to other areas of the business.
Requirements
  • Understanding of general and legal principles of insurance.
  • Knowledge of insurance sales gained in a Broker or Insurer environment (desirable).
  • Computer literacy.
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
