We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at SLG Brands. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for cultivating strong professional relationships with our retailer and brand partners, driving sales growth, and delivering successful product collections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with our retailer and brand partners to articulate the value proposition of SLG Brands and our services.
  • Account Management: Manage our retailer and brand partners through the development process, ensuring they are informed of all relevant development information and stakeholders are managed effectively.
  • Sales Growth: Drive sales growth by proactively seeking and developing new business opportunities to deliver incremental sales, understanding market trends, competitor activity, and retailer strategies.
  • Commercial Range Development: Build robust commercial ranges for all bespoke developments, analyzing sales performance, merchandising, and activation plans to ensure they are fully optimized.
  • Profit Maximization: Maximize profitability of individual product lines and collections through detailed commercial control, close collaboration with internal project teams, and strong retailer negotiation.
  • Administrative Management: Manage the administrative and operational aspects of our accounts, including the preparation and management of working line lists, pricing, and NLF management of product lines.
Requirements
  • Experience: Significant experience in an Account Manager sales role with a proven track record of success in business development, preferably within the FMCG industry.
  • Skills: Mathematically astute with high standards of written and verbal English language, fully conversant with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Competencies: Expertise in managing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, proven track record of securing new business opportunities, and ability to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced environment.
