Job Title: Account Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team at MacGregor Black. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with our key retailers and brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with retailers and brands, effectively communicating our company's innovative solutions and the benefits of partnering with us.
  • Business Development: Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities to drive sales growth and profitability.
  • Account Administration: Manage account administration, including preparing and managing working line lists, pricing, and NLF management of product lines.
  • Commercial Control: Maximise profitability of individual product lines and collections through precise commercial control, achieved via close collaboration with internal project teams and strong negotiations with retailers.

Requirements:

  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record in a Business Development role, preferably within the Consumer Goods sector, preferably within the Gifting/Health & Beauty industry.
  • Relationship Building: Expertise in managing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers and internal teams, to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Strategic Approach: Proven ability to secure new business opportunities with a strategic approach to expanding our licensed and exclusive business.
  • Commercial Acumen: Ability to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-intensity environment while maintaining focus on objectives.
