Mental Health Recovery Support Specialist

We are seeking compassionate and experienced Mental Health Recovery Support Specialists to join our growing team at our new service in Peckham.

About the Role:
  • Provide a comprehensive and responsive support service to residents, addressing their diverse needs and promoting their well-being.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans based on thorough assessments, ensuring they are SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) and incorporate regular reviews and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with residents to set goals, empower them to make informed decisions, and facilitate their progress towards recovery.
  • Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, social workers, and community organizations, to ensure holistic support for residents.
  • Facilitate access to resources and services, such as housing, employment, education, and mental health care, to enhance residents' independence and well-being.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive living environment by fostering a sense of community and belonging among residents.
About You:
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting individuals with mental health challenges and a commitment to their recovery.
  • Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Have experience in case management and developing individualized support plans.
  • Be knowledgeable about mental health issues, treatment options, and available resources.
  • Adhere to ethical principles and maintain confidentiality at all times.
