We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Community Recovery Support Coordinator to become an integral part of our dedicated team.

Our team is composed of a diverse group of professionals, including service managers, psychiatrists, healthcare practitioners, nurses, support staff, volunteers, and administrative personnel, all working collaboratively to foster hope and transformation.

Location: Camden

Employment Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £27, £31,529.41 (dependent on experience, pro rata)

Additional Benefits: £4,072.06 Inner London Weighting, pro rata

Contract Type: 12-month Fixed Term Contract

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of our organization, you will utilize your expertise to assess and engage with clients, ensuring they receive personalized interventions that cater to their unique circumstances.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Guide clients from their initial engagement through their recovery journey.
  • Conduct assessments, provide psychosocial interventions, and facilitate recovery planning.
  • Encourage involvement from caregivers, clients, and the community.
  • Advocate for access to collaborative services.
  • Partner with healthcare professionals to assist individuals with substance use concerns.

Candidate Profile:

  • Understanding of substance misuse challenges and relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of clinical prescribing practices.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with proficiency in IT.
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently with effective time management.
  • Experience in community support methodologies.
  • Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Relevant qualifications in nursing, counseling, social work, or substance misuse are advantageous.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
