Key Responsibilities:

  • Make initial contact with people referred into the service, book appointments with members of the team, and connect people to local activities and services.
  • Support in the development of activities designed to aid people's recovery.
  • Work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Provide excellent listening and interpersonal skills at all levels, with the ability to communicate complex information in an accessible way.
  • Use MS Office, Outlook, Dropbox, case management systems, and databases to manage caseload and track progress.

Requirements:

  • Commitment to the vision and mission of Hireful.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the social determinants of health and their impact on integrated services in a community setting.
  • In-depth understanding of systemic inequalities and barriers faced by members of the community and a commitment to antiracist and inclusive practice.
  • Experience of coordinating projects, setting up and coordinating activities within a community setting, and working with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including communicating with individuals whose first language is not English.
  • Good ICT skills and ability to maintain professional boundaries.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work in innovative and non-traditional ways.

Desirable:

  • Ability to speak a community language.
