About the Role

Coventry City Council's Early Years Business, Sufficiency and Funding team is seeking a dedicated part-time Family Information Service Delivery Officer to join our dynamic group. This role plays a vital part in ensuring families have access to accurate information about childcare options within the city.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide clear and concise guidance to families on various childcare services available.
  • Maintain meticulous records and ensure data accuracy, adhering to all relevant regulations.
  • Actively participate in community outreach initiatives to promote our childcare services effectively.
  • Collaborate with partners across the city to enhance the overall childcare landscape.
  • Assist with managing childcare inquiries and providing timely support to families.
  • Contribute to events and projects aimed at raising awareness about childcare options.

Who We Are Looking For

We are searching for an individual who possesses excellent communication skills, enabling them to convey complex information in a readily understandable manner. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of resolving inquiries effectively and building strong relationships with childcare providers.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification in childcare or a related field.
  • NVQ in Advice and Guidance or Customer Service.
  • Proficiency in ICT skills, particularly data analysis.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and childcare services.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
