Position Overview:

The Case Management Team plays a vital role in representing Coventry Children's Services in matters related to child care and adoption. This position involves handling sensitive and impactful cases, contributing to the welfare of children in our community.

We are looking for a childcare lawyer to become part of our Case Management legal team. In this capacity, you will oversee a diverse range of childcare cases and provide legal counsel on all facets of Child Protection and Safeguarding legislation. You will collaborate with a supportive team dedicated to managing public law childcare and adoption cases on behalf of Coventry Children's Services, ensuring high-quality legal support throughout the court process.

While a team of in-house advocates is available for more intricate hearings, some advocacy work may be required. The role includes ongoing supervision and training, along with legal officer assistance to facilitate case management. Your primary responsibility will be to manage cases during care proceedings, as well as during the pre-proceeding phase of the Public Law Outline (PLO).
