About This Role

At TSYS Managed SVCS EMEA, LTD (GB), we are committed to delivering exceptional payment technology and software solutions to our clients. As a Chargebacks Resolution Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payment systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and resolve customer chargebacks in a timely and efficient manner, utilizing established processes and adhering to association regulations.
  • Analyze cardholder and/or merchant account transactions to determine if disputed transactions are covered under federal regulations, and apply appropriate credit/debit adjustments to accounts based on the final result of arbitration.
  • Develop and apply intermediate knowledge of a single card brand (e.g. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex) and federal regulations governing credit card chargebacks and reversals through training, online research, and adherence to department processes and procedures.
  • Work on assignments that are routine to semi-routine in nature, requiring limited decision-making outside of stated processes, and recognize the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Typically No Relevant Experience Required
  • 0-2 years related work experience handling dispute resolutions throughout the association lifecycle (Preferred)

  • Acquires and applies job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete assigned routine tasks.
  • Working knowledge of association and card industry regulations
