We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Complaints Resolution Specialist to join our Patient Experience Team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.
Main Responsibilities- Investigate and respond to patient complaints and enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with senior staff members and departments to ensure effective complaint handling and resolution.
- Provide guidance and support to staff on complaint handling procedures and protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and data on complaints and enquiries using Datix electronic records.
- Coordinate and lead investigations into incidents and serious incidents.
- Draft and finalize complaint responses for approval by senior management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of complaint handling policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain relationships with staff, managers, and external agencies to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of the NHS Complaints Procedure and relevant legislation.
- Experience in complaint handling and resolution in a healthcare setting.
