Overview of the Role

The Corporate Account Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering relationships with both existing and prospective clients to promote and sell the company's offerings. This position is crucial for overseeing the entire renewals process, collaborating with various departments, particularly Sales, Legal, and Finance. Key responsibilities include negotiating contracts, maintaining sales force automation, and managing all facets of the sales renewals process. The Corporate Account Manager will guide the sales journey from initial contact to closure, effectively utilizing resources throughout the sales cycle for strategic opportunities while clearly communicating the value of Sovos' solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue leads within the designated territory to expand the client base and increase sales opportunities.
  • Promote and sell SaaS solutions to new clients.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Uphold integrity and ethical standards in all interactions with stakeholders.
  • Ensure satisfaction for both internal and external clients.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to innovate and refine business development strategies.
  • Utilize various communication methods effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Execute effective territory planning.
  • Engage in active listening to identify client needs and uncover new opportunities.
  • Serve as a mentor and role model within the organization, sharing best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end sales cycles.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role, preferably in software solutions.
  • Familiarity with contact management solutions is advantageous.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
  • Ability to comprehend and convey complex concepts clearly.
  • Proficient in analyzing and resolving intricate issues.
  • Competent in utilizing technology for communication and work requirements.
  • Proactive in seeking learning opportunities.
