Job Overview

  • Conduct the review, drafting, and negotiation of commercial contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, service contracts, supply and purchase agreements, licensing contracts, and other agreements of varying complexity to support business operations.
  • Prepare and evaluate documents pertinent to corporate governance and litigation matters.
  • Examine documents related to company secretarial functions and provide appropriate guidance.
  • Draft communications and ensure timely correspondence with external legal counsel, internal staff, and insurance providers.
  • Engage in legal research and analysis, prepare briefs, and assist in the development of strategic initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Possesses an accredited degree or its global equivalent in a relevant field, along with applicable work experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills with diverse audiences, including management, colleagues, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
  • Holds the necessary technical knowledge related to the role.
  • Exhibits the ability to learn and apply knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Shows attention to detail and the capacity to work efficiently within time constraints.
  • Has experience in private practice, corporate, or governmental settings.
  • Holds relevant licenses and registrations in their area of expertise.
  • Possesses strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Exhibits excellent communication and writing abilities.
  • Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at prioritizing tasks.
