Position Overview
As a Corporate Recovery Manager, you will oversee a select portfolio of corporate clients facing challenges related to loan servicing, security risks, or exit strategies. Your role will involve providing essential support to the Corporate Recovery Directors.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing credit relationships for clients in stressed or distressed situations, implementing effective turnaround and recovery strategies to mitigate credit risk.
  • Utilizing your expertise in recovery and business restructuring to collaborate with professional advisors for optimal outcomes.
  • Leading credit discussions with clients and securing necessary approvals for actions from relevant authorities.
  • Conducting thorough analyses of information from clients and advisors, ensuring robust situation assessments and formulating recovery strategies.
  • Engaging with clients directly to understand the factors contributing to their financial distress and developing appropriate strategies to address these issues.
  • Making informed credit recommendations, including loan restructuring when necessary, while monitoring management information and ensuring compliance with security and documentation requirements.
  • Building relationships with external professionals such as Insolvency Practitioners, Receivers, and Lawyers to enhance recovery efforts.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends across various asset types, sectors, and regions.
  • Identifying process improvements to enhance outcomes for both clients and the organization.

Qualifications
Essential:
  • Experience in credit risk management or workout roles within SME and corporate lending.
  • Strong understanding of credit management and recovery strategies.
  • Familiarity with the commercial and residential lending landscape.
  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Proven analytical abilities with a solid grasp of risk control measures.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Sound understanding of financial statements and cash flow projections.
