Position Overview

The University of Bristol is on the lookout for a talented Lead Student Services Coordinator to enhance our academic support for the School of Modern Languages. This pivotal role will contribute to the administration of our diverse degree offerings and the University Wide Language Programme (UWLP).

This position is dynamic and fast-paced, ideal for individuals who thrive in collaborative environments. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, organizing and managing various administrative processes while supervising the School's administrative team in conjunction with other senior members of the Education Team. A proven background in student administration is essential, alongside the capability to juggle multiple projects and tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities

The Lead Student Services Coordinator will ensure exceptional administrative support for our undergraduate programs, catering to students, faculty, and academic staff. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing, documenting, and executing a comprehensive set of procedures and processes throughout the academic cycle.
  • Overseeing student support, exceptional circumstances, UKVI monitoring, unit registration, assessments, feedback, and examinations.
  • Managing workload efficiently to meet critical deadlines in a vibrant academic setting.
  • Exhibiting a strong commitment to customer service and maintaining a positive, approachable demeanor.
