Job Overview

The role involves delivering comprehensive administrative assistance to the Radiation Services at Velindre Cancer Centre. This position primarily supports the Head of Radiation Services while also providing support to the broader directorate team. The focus will be on administrative tasks related to Service Managers, transforming cancer services, drafting business proposals, policy formulation, and overseeing project management initiatives.

This is a fixed-term position intended to cover maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for effective coordination and administration to facilitate the Radiation Services program at Velindre Cancer Centre.

Proficiency in Welsh is preferred for this position; applications from both Welsh and English speakers are encouraged.

Qualifications and Knowledge

Essential

  • Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Familiarity with NHS business case processes
  • Understanding of project management principles

  • Previous experience in the NHS at a junior management level
