Job Title: Airfreight Operations Clerk

Trinity Resource Solutions is seeking a skilled Airfreight Operations Clerk to join their team in Hounslow. As an Airfreight Operations Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of airfreight procedures, from door-to-door control of shipments to managing agents and customers directly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage agents and customers directly, ensuring timely and efficient communication.
  • Liaise with customers to provide solutions for highly regulated shipments, utilizing air, road, and sea transportation methods.
  • Make export airline bookings with airlines, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Track shipments and provide updates to customers, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Process customer invoices and creditor invoices in a timely manner, maintaining accurate records.
  • Collect and deliver freight, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Assist with packing, documentation, driving, warehousing, and other tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of airfreight operations with a freight forwarder, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics.
  • DG accredited, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in handling hazardous materials.
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, MS Excel, and Gmail, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
