Optime Group collaborates with major airlines, military organizations, and corporate clients globally, providing a robust network across various regions.

As the Supply Chain Manager for Europe, your primary role will involve overseeing supply chain partnerships, serving as the key liaison for external stakeholders, and addressing all internal inquiries related to the supplier network while driving growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new partnerships with multinational, regional, and local fuel suppliers, logistics providers, and operators.
  • Conduct initial assessments and onboarding processes to ensure suppliers meet necessary standards.
  • Manage and enhance existing supplier relationships, acting as the primary contact for daily contract management.
  • Negotiate and finalize contractual agreements, including pricing, credit limits, and service expectations.
  • Ensure fulfillment of contract obligations to meet customer satisfaction and address any performance issues.
  • Comprehend the entire supply chain, including product sourcing, logistics, storage, and on-site stock management across European airports.
  • Implement and refine operational processes to support ambitious growth objectives.
  • Serve as the final resolution authority for disputes between the organization and its suppliers.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a supply and logistics role within the downstream oil and gas sector, with a preference for aviation operations management experience.
  • Strong industry connections across various distribution channels and proficiency in aviation fuel logistics.
  • Experience in scheduling for truckloads and/or pipeline transfers is preferred.
  • Background in a fast-paced 24/7 logistics environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
  • Ability to engage professionally with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Interest in data analytics with the capability to derive insights from diverse data sources; advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
  • Adaptability to new processes, products, and technologies.
  • Self-motivated with strong teamwork capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills with a keen attention to detail.
