Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Strategist to join our team at Elekta AB. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for analyzing supply chain data, anticipating potential delays, and collaborating with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to enhance efficiency across the board.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pro-actively expediting of requirements to maximize stock availability for product supply centers while ensuring optimal inventory levels.
  • Communicate and escalate supply risk to minimize global service impact.
  • Managing objectives by pro-actively managing key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintaining and managing Supplier Calendar, Delivery Frequency Calendar, Collection Calendar, Shipping Calendar, and Transport Calendar.
  • Fully responsible for ensuring the correct stock requirements are conveyed to relevant suppliers at product level, taking due consideration of lead-time and other factors (shutdowns, national holidays, etc.).
Case Management
  • Non-Field Replaceable Unit (Non-FRU) Request
  • NSR (Non-Standard Requests)
  • Defective On-Arrival (DEFOA) Requests
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar position within a continuous improvement environment.
  • Analytical approach to work & experience with identifying areas for improvement.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and Supply Chain Planning systems.
  • Competencies with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience in supply planning, material planning or purchase order management.
