Willis Global Ltd, a prominent independent provider of aviation and aerospace solutions for both commercial and governmental clients worldwide, is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team.

Role Overview:
The Supply Chain Coordinator will be an integral part of the International Operations Centre (IOC) located in the vicinity of London Gatwick. The primary responsibility of this position is to address urgent (AOG) requests from airline clients while collaborating with the Operations Specialist Team Leader and the team to ensure operational performance aligns with established targets and obligations.

In this role, you will engage closely with airline clients, providing thorough and confident updates regarding all logistical aspects of AOG shipments.

Your responsibilities will also include ensuring that all facets of Materials, Procurement, and Inventory Management are processed efficiently and effectively within the guidelines set by the Operations Specialist Team Leader.

As a member of the IOC Operations Specialist Team, you will serve as a key point of contact for airline clients and internal stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary contact to ensure continuity for contracted clients and Programme Managers, managing urgent orders and ensuring requirements are met efficiently.
  • Act as the main point of contact for requests from contracted airline clients, ensuring demands are raised promptly, identifying sources of supply, and coordinating shipments in line with service level agreements. Proactively address any potential shortfalls and collaborate with suppliers and clients to find solutions.
  • Assist with the daily operational demands of airline clients, ensuring customer requests are fulfilled in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Help manage any customer order backlogs, whether system-related or operational, minimizing delays while maintaining excellent communication and providing alternative solutions.
  • Engage proactively with assigned Programme and Operations Managers to ensure all contractual obligations are met, guaranteeing client satisfaction and contract performance.
  • Identify potential issues and risks early, evaluate implications, and work collaboratively with all parties to develop contingency and recovery plans. Escalate to the relevant manager as needed for resolution.
  • Ensure that all component float levels accurately reflect operational needs by conducting statistical analyses to highlight and rectify any surplus or shortfall. Additionally, set reorder levels and minimum order quantities to optimize efficiency and prevent overstocking or stockouts across all warehouses.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in time-sensitive supply chain or logistics operations within a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience in managing demanding clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to adapt to in-house IT systems.
