Job Profile: Import Coordinator

Import Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
  • Prepare and submit internal documentation, including files and invoices.
  • Process and verify supplier invoices, and address any discrepancies.
  • Monitor and track arrivals, ensuring timely collections and deliveries.
  • Coordinate logistics to meet customer deadlines and expectations.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with delivery services.

Import Coordinator Requirements

  • Proven track record of at least two years in a similar role, preferably in a small to medium-sized freight forwarding company.
  • Experience with importing live pets is advantageous.
  • Strong focus on air freight operations.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

Import Coordinator Remunerations

  • Monday to Friday working hours.
  • Salary range: £30,000 - £35,000.
  • Company-provided laptop.
  • Overtime opportunities with additional compensation.
  • Company phone provided if required.
  • Standard holiday entitlement, plus bank holidays.
  • On-site parking facilities.
  • Company pension scheme.
