Office Administration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Office Administration Specialist to join a well-established regional contractor. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Director at the head office and take charge of managing and maintaining precise records of project documentation, contracts, and invoices.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with project managers and subcontractors to ensure timely task completion.
  • Overseeing office supplies and equipment, ensuring that stock levels are consistently adequate.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail, including distribution and dispatch.
  • Assisting with payroll processing and onboarding procedures for new employees.
  • Providing support to the management team with various ad hoc tasks and projects as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in an office management or administrative role. While experience in the construction sector is desirable, it is not a strict requirement. Key skills include:

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
  • An organized and proactive approach to work.

Compensation: For the right candidate who demonstrates the ability to perform the role efficiently and effectively, a competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £35,000 will be offered, along with additional benefits.
