Amadeus Altéa Customer Management has established itself as the leading Departure Control System in the aviation sector. As the industry shifts towards Offer/Order/Settle/Deliver, we are embarking on the creation of a next-generation Delivery Management System designed to adapt to the changing requirements of the market and empower our clients to enhance their passenger services.

THE ROLE
We are in search of a skilled product professional to become part of a dedicated team of Product Managers overseeing all facets of the product lifecycle. As the Product Manager for Delivery Management (DMX), you will be tasked with formulating the product vision and strategy, guiding it through to execution and beyond. You will articulate and drive product functionalities based on business needs while providing industry and product insights in this dynamic field. We seek an individual who is inspired by emerging standards and technologies, possesses a passion for innovation, and excels in communication. A strong inclination to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced setting is essential.

Common Accountabilities:

• Demonstrates advanced technical knowledge to ensure the team operates at peak performance. Recognized as a leader in the field, may formally mentor Specialists/Senior Specialists.


• Comprehends how primary business drivers may influence their area. Capable of evaluating complex issues with widespread implications, enhancing processes, proposing solutions, and developing risk mitigation strategies. Able to convey intricate information effectively.


• Operates with a significant degree of autonomy, guided by management directives. Leads projects or contributes to extensive cross-functional initiatives. May assist in resource and budget planning.

Specific Accountabilities:

• Develop and articulate value propositions and key messages that address problem statements, translating them into innovative product concepts or enhancements.

• Define the product strategy, vision, and business value in collaboration with business owners and relevant stakeholders.

• Analyze competitors' solution offerings and establish the strategic positioning of the product in conjunction with Product Marketing Management.

• Manage partnerships with third parties: defining requirements and priorities, coordinating product evolution, and other collaborative activities.

• Engage Amadeus teams in the product vision, disseminate product knowledge, and ensure a shared understanding of the business objectives.

• Foster co-innovation with clients to validate customer value drivers, outline product features (MVP and beyond), and prioritize based on effort and anticipated business value.

• Define and oversee the product roadmap; align timelines with relevant stakeholders. Collaborate closely with Product Marketing Management, Operations (Customer Service/Delivery/Go To Market), and R&D teams to establish priorities and release plans for new products or enhancements.

• Coordinate various functional and technical streams with R&D teams to ensure cohesive end-to-end solutions.

• Manage the budget for the area of responsibility, including capacity planning with R&D.

• Participate in Agile events (Lean Portfolio Management, PI planning, System demos, Inspect and Adapt workshops...) as necessary.

• When applicable, fulfill the role of Product Owner or ART PM, collaborating with R&D teams to maximize the outcomes of agile teams.

• Ensure that released solutions meet user needs and adhere to product readiness standards.
