POSITION SUMMARY:

The Retail Education Specialist will collaborate closely with the Sales & Education Executive while supporting the Regional Education Manager to ensure a unified approach to service excellence and enhance sales performance.

This role is pivotal in boosting sales and nurturing our team members through effective in-store coaching methodologies, working alongside the Sales & Education Executive to pinpoint critical areas for improvement and development. The Retail Education Specialist will exemplify the Estée Lauder brand vision and strategic objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. SALES PERFORMANCE

• Guide in-store teams to meet retail sales goals established by the company through the Sales & Education Executive.

• Mentor Estée Lauder Advisors as needed and identify training opportunities for the Sales & Education Executive.

• Conduct on-counter educational workshops to promote the sale of new launches, limited edition collections, and product priorities.

2. PRODUCTIVITY

• Meet all key performance indicators (KPIs) as outlined by the brand.

• Support and mentor Advisors to ensure they possess the necessary skills to successfully achieve brand KPIs, including Average Units Sold (AUS), Items Per Transaction (IPT), and cross-category selling techniques.

3. LUXURY SERVICE PERFORMANCE

• Lead by example by delivering exceptional luxury service at all times.

• Promote luxury service standards through coaching and constructive feedback.

4. EVENTS

• Plan and execute in-store events aligned with brand strategy and product priorities.

• Provide coaching and feedback to specialists to ensure event success.

• Monitor and report sales performance in relation to events to the Sales & Education Executive.

5. ADVISOR SUPPORT

• Collaborate with the Counter Manager to identify and address training needs within the team.

• Develop and maintain an in-store education plan for each Advisor.

• Ensure consistency in the luxury experience accreditation program.

6. EDUCATION SUPPORT

• Coach, motivate, and assess team performance based on productivity metrics.

• Conduct strategic follow-ups on all classroom education to ensure the successful implementation of training initiatives, including product knowledge content.

• Assist with the facilitation of core education programs as needed.

• Identify locally relevant education opportunities to enhance talent and capability among Advisors through regular monitoring and feedback.

• Provide training for agency usage to support promotions and events during high-traffic periods.

7. IMAGE

• Maintain personal grooming standards as set by Estée Lauder.

• Uphold the brand image at the counter by assisting with the upkeep and merchandising of counters, tester stands, and displays.

Qualifications:

• A qualification in training and coaching techniques within the beauty sector is preferred, but candidates with relevant experience demonstrating high levels of creative and technical expertise in a retail environment are encouraged to apply.

• All candidates must showcase the ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service, conducting Estée Lauder services that include skincare consultations and makeup applications.

• Mentor Estée Lauder Advisors and identify training needs where appropriate to enhance individual skill sets.

• Host on-counter educational workshops to drive retail performance.

• Flexibility to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a dynamic work environment.

• Previous experience with Excel and PowerPoint is preferred.

• Candidates must provide proof of eligibility to live and work in the country if invited for an interview.
