About the Role
The University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking a skilled and organized Receptionist to join their team. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
- Manage the reception area, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence
- Coordinate appointments, manage waiting lists, and maintain accurate records
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
- Good standard of education in English and Maths
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Previous experience in a reception or administrative role is desirable
