Your Impact as an Income Support Specialist


The successful candidate will assist the Income Collection team in maximizing and maintaining rental income and other debts, including former tenant arrears and charges for repairs and garage fees. This will involve conducting early intervention and preventive measures such as offering guidance on Universal Credit claims, processing claims through the DWP portal, promoting advance rent payments, establishing digital payment options, and managing income collection tasks, including the preparation of court documentation.

You will also play a key role in preventing arrears from increasing by supporting outreach initiatives, maintaining proactive communication with customers who fall behind on payments, and overseeing payment arrangements.

We seek an individual who is customer-oriented with outstanding communication abilities, both verbal and written. You should demonstrate the capacity to address the needs of a diverse customer base, utilizing negotiation skills to balance business and customer requirements towards a mutually beneficial outcome.
