Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of the care home, ensuring that high quality care and support is delivered to residents.
  • Provide 24 hour support to residents, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication management, and emotional support.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote a safe and supportive environment for residents.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in care and support.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a care and support setting, preferably in a residential care home.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Knowledge of care and support principles, including person-centered care and dignity.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
