About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and caring individual to join our team as a Senior Support Worker. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management of a small 27-bed residential care home, providing 24-hour care and support to older adults.
  • Assist with personal care activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal support.
  • Help residents engage in activities and promote their physical, psychological, and social well-being.
  • Lead a team and provide guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a care home environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of leading a team and qualifications in care (Level 2 or above) are essential.
  • Ability to work flexibly and provide high-quality care and support.
  • Willingness to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
