We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Relief Waking Night Support Worker to join our team at Creative Support. As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to older adults living in residential care homes and Extra Care settings in the Carlisle area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional and practical support to service users, including personal care needs, household tasks, medication management, and promoting healthy living.
  • Encourage residents to engage in social activities and promote independence, dignity, and inclusion.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery and support.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of understanding and empathy to support older adults with dementia.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a care or support role, with a strong understanding of dementia care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts, and adapt to changing situations.
  • Commitment to the welfare and well-being of others.
