Job Description

Job Summary:

The Family Support Team Lead will be responsible for managing a team of family workers and coordinators to deliver a high-quality early help family support service to families with children 0-19 years old. The successful candidate will have experience in working with complex families, undertaking assessments, developing SMART plans, and monitoring progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the effective operational delivery of universal and targeted services for families with children 0-19.
  • Manage Early Help referrals across the service and ensure appropriate interventions and plans are put into place for families.
  • Ensure that all staff within the team have access to regular and appropriate supervision as well as training to continue the development of the necessary skills to meet the needs of the families.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with complex families and developing SMART plans.
  • Ability to manage a team of family workers and coordinators.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Hours:

36 hours per week, 09:00am – 17:30pm.
