We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Intervention Support Worker to join our team at the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. As a key member of our Family Hubs team, you will play a vital role in providing a welcoming and safe environment for young children and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and deliver high-quality, evidence-based early intervention services for children aged birth to 5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
  • Work in partnership with parents/carers and other professionals to promote wellbeing and support children develop to their full potential.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, stakeholders, and community partners to ensure seamless support and services.
  • Design and deliver creative sessions for parents and carers to promote engagement and skill-building.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote the project and meet the needs of children involved.
  • Ensure accurate data collection, monitoring, and interpretation to inform service development and improvement.
  • Travel across Barking and Dagenham to deliver services and presentations.

About You

We are looking for a self-starter who is passionate about engaging families in early intervention services. You will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with professionals across the system.
