The Family Recovery Program

The Family Recovery Program at AD WARRIOR is a structured initiative spanning approximately three months. This program offers specialized support to adult family members impacted by another individual's addiction. The objectives of the program include:

  • Enhancing overall wellbeing
  • Assisting family members in managing the effects of addiction on themselves and their loved ones
  • Strengthening the ability of family members to establish healthy relationship boundaries
  • Expanding support networks through interactions with fellow participants
  • Alleviating feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Encouraging improved self-care practices

The program has been adapted for online delivery, allowing us to reach family members across the nation.

Desired Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum of three years of experience in a therapeutic role within addiction treatment or a related field.
  • Proven experience in delivering family-focused interventions and programs for clients and their families affected by addiction.
  • Experience in providing online therapeutic interventions.
  • Skilled in conducting comprehensive needs and risk assessments.
  • Background in facilitating group therapy or psychosocial interventions.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in data collection and outcome evaluation.
  • Experience in handling complex safeguarding matters.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the workplace.

Educational Requirements

  • A counseling or related qualification at Level 4 or higher.
